Arbor-Shadow Plotting.
This uses the excellent software developed by Chris Skellern. It accurately plots tree shadows, and is very controllable: tree height, clear crown height crown spread in NSEW, the time of day, the time of year and much more. It is a design tool rather than a tool to be used in an appeal, in which case our full BRE Daylight Study would be ideal.
